What is We Care?
WeCare is a non-profit organization based in Plano, Texas that creates care packages tailored to a specific organization and its cause. Social welfare organizations are a vital part of our North Texas community, from healthcare workers to homeless shelters. Our ambition is to help people by connecting other welfare organizations to resources.
Our Origin
Ahan Mukherjee and Srinivas Dhulipala participated in Philanthropy Kids’ leadership course, PAVE, in Summer 2020. Using the skills they gained from the program, they founded WeCare in October 2021. Their first project under the new organization banner supported healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, their team has extended to include a Board of Directors dedicated to furthering the mission of WeCare to support a variety of causes and people in need across DFW
